**What are we looking for?**
We have an amazing opportunity to join the Marketing & Communications Team as a **Conference Coordinator **. In this role you will assist in the delivery of the marketing and communications plans that support North American business strategy. Manage processes and systems to ensure smooth delivery of conference communications in a manner that reflects GHD's values and purpose.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:
- Support conference and events coordinator through project management and administration (all conference support will not require travel to conferences)
- Help collect and update metric and conference data
- Coordinate conference items (banners, promos) logistics and shipping
- Development of ads, invites, graphics, QR codes for conferences using Canva or Adobe
- Support Tier 2/3 conferences including hosing kick-off/planning calls and debrief calls with preparation of Powerpoints, and use of MCAE
- Coordinate off-site printing
- Prepare fedex labels and material handling forms
- Research conference info and client event venues
- Coordination of due dates for conference tasks
- Track tasks and deadlines
- Secure booth furnishings, booth spaces, sponsorships
- Provide guidance on GHDstore and New Hire Pop ups
- Data entry on key reports and conference items/tools
- Maintain awards airtable
- Coordinate needs for awards
- Participate and organize Marcomms social hours
- Help develop and produce internal team reports by supporting collection of data from internal and external marketing activities
- Support marketing & communications team through project management for social media, internal communications and collateral
**What you will bring to the team**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality or similar field of study
- 5-7 years of marketing and communications, conference logistics experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - an open communication style
- Works effectively with people and builds good working relationships
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills with ability to schedule and manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Comes forward with solutions to challenges/issues
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Advanced level of speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
