**What We're Looking For**

The Marketing Technologist will oversee the marketing tools used to create segmented and personalized customer experiences throughout the customer journey. Specifically, the Marketing Technologist will be responsible for the administration of Vacasa's CDP (Segment) and marketing platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).This includes standing up new capabilities, integrating data and technology stack, developing and optimizing automations & journeys, and maintaining the level of quality needed for personalized messaging across our digital channels.

**What you'll do**
- Partner with internal stakeholders in architecting, designing, and implementing data integrations between Segment, SFMC, and other MarTech tools.
- Monitor system performance of SFMC including deliverability, reputation health, data flow and data hygiene.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify, triage, and monitor any issues that may arise with marketing sends or related systems performance.
- Manage the intake process and requirements gathering for change requests relating to SFMC and Segment
- Manage and optimize customer data models to ensure alignment with the CDP architecture strategy and support segmentation initiatives.
- Perform user management, user group organization, and resolve access requests.
- Monitor the collection and transportation of PII within the CDP to ensure sensitive data is used and stored appropriately
- Create and maintain logic used to power targeted and personalized marketing communications
- Create, test, and monitor automations that deliver and organize data between internal data sources and marketing platforms to support the appropriate levels of self service segmentation and personalization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create, test, and monitor triggered marketing communications.
- Oversee logic and data flows to ensure all user preferences and opt selections are honored appropriately in all data sets used for marketing communications.
- Maintain documentation of all journeys, queries, data extensions, and automation configurations

**Skills you'll need**
- **Fluent english**:

- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics or related discipline or equivalent experience
- 3+ years administering and supporting a Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment; leveraging existing API's or developing new API's. Experience working on Salesforce instances; managing upgrades, creating journeys
- 3+ years experience working with customer data platforms. Experience with Segment preferred.
- Experience with CRM data structures, preferably in a Salesforce product.
- Strong SQL ability and experience querying databases for segmentation and/or reporting purposes
- Working knowledge of Python, Javascript, HTML / CSS, JSON
- The ability to present complex data requirements in a simple and clear way across both technical and non-technical audiences
