**_How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)_**:

- _
- Delta is_ the leading airline and a trusted, people-first, values-led consumer brand._ The Brand Communications team, like all of Delta, promotes a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement._
- _ Acting as a matrixed connector across Corporate Communications, Marketing, Sales, Employee Communications and Community Engagement to develop a consistent narrative and _to _drive strategic programs, positioning Delta as the preferred U.S. airline and, with its partners, the preferred choice for international travelers between North and South America and to/from the Caribbean and Canada_
- _ Building and executing robust earned media and earned social campaigns, as well as _360-degree targeted marketing and customer-communication programs_
- _ Building collaborative relationships with regional executives and JV partners and co-creating programs in support of shared objectives_
- _ Guiding regional employee communications in close collaboration with the Employee Communications team, and consistent with Employee Communications strategy and best practices that strengthen relationships between regional leadership and front-line workers, and that enable those front-line workers to better understand how their work contributes to Deltas success_
- _ Supporting preparedness for world-class crisis response in region aligned with corporate plans and JV partners_
- _ Understanding and supporting in-region Community Engagement, Global Sales and Regulatory objectives that position Delta and its partners as leaders in sustainability, customer support and corporate responsibility_

**_What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)_**:

- _Ability to move seamlessly between big strategic thinking and tactical execution and juggle competing priorities_
- _ Ability to act as strategic counsel to and foster constructive relationships with individuals at all levels_
- _ Diplomacy, positivity, keen problem-solving, critical thinking, and the ability to receive and deliver constructive criticism_
- _ Strategic, solutions-oriented approach and ease working collaboratively across teams_
- _ Strong team orientation and relationship-building skills; predisposition to seek and integrate diverse viewpoints_

- _ Passion for measurement and analysis to drive results and prioritize work_
- _ Track record of performance management with goals of driving revenue growth and customer engagement through test and learn, prioritization, and optimization_
- _ Excellent verbal and writing capabilities, storytelling expertise in multiple mediums, media relations expertise_
- _ Minimum of 10 years' experience in Corporate Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Employee Communications, including day-to-day relationships with senior executives, people management and managing a budget_
- _ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential_
- _ International travel required_
- _ Must be performing satisfactorily in present position_
- _ Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc._
