Our Santiago office has an opportunity for a **Procurement Specialist **to join our global professional services leader and our growing local operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Within designated categories of spend, assist with vendor life cycle activities such as Identification, Onboarding and Contracting, Performance Monitoring, Relationships Building, and Contract Renewals and Termination
- Work closely with the projects team to understand details of strategic procurement requirements including sourcing, prequalification, etc.
- Initiate and renew contracts including framework agreements, service line agreements, etc., negotiate pricing, terms, and provisions
- Engage, educate, and influence indirect and direct vendors to align to GHDs Environmental, Sustainable and Governance (ESG) commitments
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners
- Measure and monitor vendor performance and compliance with agreements, contracts, conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews and provide feedback to team on gaps, and business opportunities
- Build industry, vendor, category, business unit, etc. specific reports, analyze data, and report on gaps and opportunities to the team including vendor segmentation
- Assist in growing GHD’s supplier diversity program
- Perform all responsibilities within GHD Procurement Guidelines and ensure relevant processes and procedures are followed
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**:
- 2+ years of strategic procurement experience including data analysis, sourcing, vendor management, and contract management
- High proficiency with data management and analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Excel (intermediate to expert)
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proactive attitude towards work, teamwork, and cooperation
- Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset
- Previous experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
- Degree or certification in business administration, procurement, finance, or related field preferred
