Savings Plan Administrator

Robert Half is seeking a 401(K) Plan Administrator for the administration of four 401(k) plans, one Canada Retirement Savings plan and four non-qualified plans: work with plan recordkeepers and internal/external partners on all plan related matters. This includes but not limited to the following responsibilities: prepare and submit contribution deposits to plan recordkeepers, audit and update employee demographic data across multiple plans, follow administrative policies/procedures and processing guidelines to conform with the IRS/DOL regulations and plan requirements, discuss plan rules with participants and internal/external partners, gather year end data and submit to recordkeepers to prepare compliance tests, review IRS year end filing reports, assist with annual 401(k) plan audit.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Work with vendor, external/internal partners to fully research and respond to participant inquiries regarding plan related issues. I.e., eligibility, contributions, distributions, loans, vesting calculations, etc.
- Conduct NEO meetings to introduce Savings Plans provisions and address employees' questions. Update NEO's presentation as needed.
- Reconcile contribution deductions between payroll files from Workday/PeopleSoft Payrolls and Fidelity file uploads.
- Research and resolve Payroll deduction variances before submitting wire deposit requests for funding. Payroll deposits are processed weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly.
- Reconcile outages between payroll deductions and contribution deposits as needed.
- Work with vendor and internal partners to research, analyze and correct data file errors (inbound and outbound files) and data gaps between vendor's recordkeeping system and Robert Half's records.
- Perform periodic audits of participant data and accounts.
- Participate In Team's projects upon request.
- Update plan brochures and internal materials as needed.
- Coordinate with internal partners to communicate and post these documents online.
- Identify gaps in the processes/procedures and practices.
- Make recommendations to streamline and improve processing efficiencies.
- Conduct annual Employer Match allocations and reviews: develop and communicate timeline for the delivery of the final allocation amounts and impacted population to the client, deposit of the contributions into participant accounts, and draft participant communications.
Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree preferred
- 3+ years' experience with 401(k), and Non Qualified deferred compensation plans (409 A) plan administration (preferred)
- Numeracy skills: i.e., reconcile outages between payroll deductions and contribution deposits, etc.
- Ability to read 401(k) plan documents, understand and articulate plan requirements to Participants and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
The typical salary range for this position is $62,000 to $92,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

We also offer the opportunity to contribute to our company 401(k) savings and investment plan or deferred compensation plan (if eligible), with an employer match of 100% on the first 3% of your contributions for eligible employees.
