**Principal Field Service Engineer**:

Acts as a service lead in high complex service work and troubleshooting and ensures delivery as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Delivers outstanding customer service to earn customer loyalty.

**This position reports to**:
Engineering Manager I

**Your responsibilities**:

- Execute medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standards processes, quality standars and safety guidelines. Perform services tasks like installation, commissioning and maintenance for MV/LV drives and ringed mill drives systems, ensuring customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer expectation.
- Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment of systems are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities. Prepares standard lists for easy of work, procedures, test report and all document needed for site activities.
- Readiness for often and/or long working trips for installation, commissioning and manitenance of MV/LV drives and ringed mill drives systems. These services activities will be performed in Chile and out of the country.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Eight years of experience working in similar positions.
- Readiness for often and/or long working trips within Chile and outside of the country.
- Low and medium voltage variable frequency drives engineering, sizing and commisioning.
- Flexibility and openness to new knowledge.
- Mechanical parts of drives systems, ringed mill drives (RMD) Systems knowledge and ACS6000 and ACS5000 drives systems knowledge is desirable.
- Availability to travel (100% national and international trips).
