Apps Development Sr Tech Leader

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage one or more Applications Development teams in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
- Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
- Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results, participate in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary
**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
- Experience as Applications Development Manager
- Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role
- Stakeholder and people management experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven project management skills
- Basic knowledge of industry practices and standards
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred

- _Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3_
- _UI Development experience with Bootstrap, Backbone, Node.JS, AngularJS_
- _Experience creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core AngularJS_
- _Well verse with the use of XML, JSON and REST services _
- _Thorough understanding of usage of the fundamental concepts like Exception Handling, Static block/variables/classes, OOPS _
- objects, custom tags, context_
- _Exposure to an industry-standard database (Oracle or Sybase) on a UNIX platform with awareness of database design and SQL scripting knowledge and performance tuning_
- _Work experience in testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG_
- _Creating unit test scripts for Angular JS components using standard frameworks_
- _Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/stacks _
- _Swings/.Net/C# knowledge is a plus_
- Domain:_
- _Knowledge of various treasury products, viz. FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income & Derivatives is a plus_

**_ Qualifications:_**
- _Graduation/Post Graduation qualifications in Engineering stream with a very good academic record throughout from premier institutions._
- _A high degree of Analytical ability and Quantitative skills is desirable_
