We are looking to hire someone for the position of **Lower Elementary Teacher **for the next school

**Qualifications and Experience**
University degree in Elementary Education required.- Master degree in Elementary Education preferred.
- Experience in Grades Kindergarten-2 preferred.
- Exceptional English communication skills both written and oral.
- High level of English proficiency required.
- Conversational Spanish communication skills preferred
- Experience in a multicultural school environment.
- Experience in using the Common Core Standards in ELA and mathematics, the C3
- Framework, and the Next Generation Science Standards.- Experience using the workshop model across content areas.
- Experience teaching English Language Arts through a balanced literacy approach.
- Experience using inquiry/design thinking to design and deliver instruction.
- Experience using a range of assessment data to document student growth and to plan for
- instruction.- Experience in creating student-centered learning environments.
- Experience delivering social-emotional learning curriculum.
- Experience in differentiating instruction.

**Skills**
Basic knowledge in technology such as Google Suite, SeeSaw, PowerSchool, Chromebooks
- and Apple devices.- Creative, critical thinker.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Provide whole group instruction along with differentiated small group and individual
- support as needed.- Create and maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and team members in planning and design of learning
- units.- Collaborate with an assistant teacher in the delivery of instruction.
- Both individually and with teams collect and utilize informal and formal data to respond
- to learning needs and make curricular adjustments.- Maintain regular communications with students and families.
- Attend to a wide variety of school responsibilities as assigned by administrators.
