GHD has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time **Advanced Senior Air Quality Engineer **to be based in our Chile Region offices and work developing and delivering a range of national and international projects.

**In this role, you will be expected to**:

- Work with clients and colleagues meet to deadlines on unique and challenging projects.
- Manage multiple air quality projects spanning a variety of disciplines including: air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, emissions reporting, regulatory compliance, audits, and more.
- Communicate complex regulatory issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams
- Support air quality compliance management in multiple industries, including chemical/petro-chem, refining, upstream and midstream oil and gas, electrical utility, petroleum refining, and manufacturing.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff in technical and interpersonal matters.

**Role Requirements**:

- B.S. degree in Environmental Engineering, Science or a related field; M.S. preferred.
- 10-15 years of air quality permitting, compliance and/or modeling experience; consulting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of air quality rules, regulations and agency structure in Texas and surrounding states.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other technical professionals, clients, and regulatory officials in person and in writing.
- Capable of leading and directing the work of teams while maintaining budgets and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software.
- Air dispersion modeling experience preferred.
