ThoroughTec Chile is seeking a high performing “Business Development Professional” to find new sales and to service existing clients in South America. This role will play an important part in the continued expansion of ThoroughTec's CYBERMINE leadership in South America.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- A positive and determined approach to identify new business opportunities using leads, relevant research tools, region specific targeting and cold calling.
- An affinity for regional and international business travel (about 30% to 40% of time will be on the road)
- A stable track record of achieving above target performance where most of the revenues derive from new customers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience: mining industry, solution sales, business development, relationship building or client servicing desirable.

**Linguistic Skills**
- Fluency in written and spoken English (mandatory), Spanish and ideally Portuguese.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment.

**Personal skills**
- A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people.
- A capability to work independently, whilst taking responsibility as an individual.
- An inherently competitive nature and a hunger to succeed.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
