Entry Level Claims Examiner

Location: Trinity, Florida Office

Department: Quality Assurance
- Reviews incoming moderate residential and commercial property estimates for accuracy and compliance with carrier-specific guidelines.
- Provides feedback and collaborates with independent adjusters to correct estimates as necessary.
- Contributes to business goals, performance metrics, and effectively uses tools & technology.
- Supports workload surges and/or catastrophe operations as needed to include working significant overtime during designated catastrophe events.
- Acquires and applies knowledge of dwelling construction terminology and techniques, estimating best practices and Xactimate estimates.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Computer literate in a Windows operating environment.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and easily acclimates to changes in process/systems for overall improvement of the organization.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing residential estimates to carrier specific standards.

PREFERRED
- Construction experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Active adjuster’s License.
- Prior military experience.

WORK SCHEDULE Availability to work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Schedules may vary based upon business needs.

TRAINING SCHEDULE Licensing training will occur during the first week of employment. You must obtain your license within three testing attempts (paid for by Allcat).
- Licensing - obtain your license within 2 testing attempts (paid for by Allcat).
- Property & Casualty insurance industry products and services.
- Claims and specific insurance carrier processes, systems and technology.
- Employees that attend training are expected to meet Allcat’s established standards for performance, attendance and conduct.
