Quality Outreach Coordinator

**BC Forward is looking for **HEDIS Coordinator (Remote)**

**Position Title: HEDIS Coordinator (Remote)**

**Location : REMOTE - CST/EST**
**Anticipated Start Date: 12/2**

**Expected Duration: 3 months**

**Job Type: Contract to Hire**

**Shift: 8:00 - 5:00 M-F, In the event that OT is required, the hiring manager will inform the workers ahead of time. Towards the end of the year there may be an opportunity for the worker to participate in OT during possibly (late October - November, December) TBD. **2 paid 15 min breaks per day, 30 min unpaid lunch**

**Pay Rate: $20.50/hr on W2**

**Need: Prior HEDIS/QARR Experience with minimum of 2 years AND Outbound Calling.
Position Purpose:
Performs duties to assist in activities related to closing open care gaps for high-risk members.
- Customer service
- Calling members via phone
- Calling the member and providing service
- Outbound calling
- Purpose of team is to close care gaps, and ensure they are being addresses.
- HEDIS -Health Effectiveness Data and Information Sets
- QARR - Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements
- PSO - Preventative Service Outreach (Majority)
- HRA - Health Risk Assessment (Filler / temporary)

This person may be asked to pivot and complete multiple projects and assignments in a timely manner. Training is going to be provided by the hiring leaders, but they do not have the capabilities to hand hold someone.
- Participation is a MUST.
- Leadership wants to ensure that this person is learning and absorbing the information provided. This person must be willing to demonstrate their knowledge and exhibit active listening.

Exceptional work ethic. This team is very driven and motivated to complete deliverables and daily tasks. This person should not be expected to be able to take time off / call off, etc.
- The hiring leaders are going to provide guidance and leadership to this person for them to be able to thrive in this environment. However, this person also needs to be independent and work on their own.
- This person should be able to identify an issue and be able to dig for the answers and utilize the resources provided by their management.

Required Skills/Experience:
HEDIS / QARR
Needs to demonstrate leadership capabilities. This person is going to need to be able to problem solve.
Strong organizational skills
Exceptional phone behavior
Healthcare background (doctors office, hospital setting, 2+ years
Medical Terminology

Preferred Skills/ Experience:
Exceptional work ethic

Education Requirement: HSD

Education Preferred: Experience equivalent to degree

Software Skills Required: Microsoft Office, must have stable internet connection, must be connected to secure Wi-Fi (home) not Starbucks, hotels, etc.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years managed care setting, medical office or facility setting with demonstration of medical administration duties. Knowledge of medical terminology. Interacts with high-risk members and/or providers to improve healthcare outcomes and close care gaps such as increased preventive care compliance

Provides support for quality initiatives including outreach to members who are noncompliant in the designated outreach services

Conducts seasonal call campaigns, in coordination with local market efforts

Enters data assessments and authorizations into the system and maintain database as directed

Maintains integrity of Personal Health Information
Performs other duties as assigned

Complies with all policies and standards
