The Vice President, Commercial for DP World Chile **d **elivers commercial strategies and standards for all operating companies within the DP World Chile group. This role is responsible for maintaining the company’s commercial relationship with the key customers and stakeholders whilst developing revenue streams and maximizing pricing.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Develop and maintain commercial plans to ensure feedback and relationships are maintained with all current and potential customers
- Optimize commercial synergies and leverage to enhance and sustain value and consistently deliver volume and unit revenue plans above budget through innovative tariff management
- Assure the maximization of profit and revenue, expected market share, branding, & customer loyalty
- Maintain regular and effective communication and co-ordinate with Regional Office
- Identify the marketplace(s), analyze and provide market intelligence to develop strategies and implement the market plan
- Coordinate a unified commercial approach towards Liner, Deport and other customers
- Develop country-wide, multi-port business proposition to shipping lines and end users
- Align Liner and Logistics activities strategy
- Lead contract negotiation with customers, and approve (initial) closure of contracts and special deals entered by individual business units
- Act as entry point for issue resolution with customers Head Offices within Chile
- Assist GM’s and lead Commercial and logistics Managers in the fulfillment of their commercial objectives.Represent the company in industry associations

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- 15+ years of diverse port and/or liner commercial experience with demonstrated knowledge of port contractual relationships and ability to create value through synergy and coordination between operating companies
- Proven leadership optimizing business value and engaging with key stakeholders including customers preferably from a GM position
- Effective strategic engagement with customers at a senior decision-making level resolving issues, negotiating contracts and developing new business opportunities
