**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are looking to hire someone for the position of **High School Learning Facilitator **for the
2023-2024 school year, according to the following skills and qualifications:
**Position Details**
Position Name: Learning Facilitator
Dvision: High School
Reports to: High School Principal
Time commitment: Full-time

**Qualifications and Experience**
Interest in teaching and working with high school aged students (required);- Experience in teaching and learning (preferred);
- Interest in learning about current research and trends in curriculum, instruction, and
- assessment;- Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues (required);
- English proficiency (required
- will need to facilitate lessons in English);

**Skills**
Genuine enjoyment of working with high school-aged students;- Excellent communication skills;
- Commitment to engaging in collaborative processes;
- Ability to reflect and demonstrate a growth mindset;
- Understanding and appreciation of multicultural contexts.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Contribute to fostering the mission, vision, and values of Nido;- Engage in the Nido community by promoting a positive, collaborative school culture
- Facilitate different classes daily while the primary teacher out of school;
- Execute lesson plans according to the directions given by the primary teacher;
- Give student learning and behavior feedback to the primary teacher following each lesson;
- Engage in independent study of best teaching and learning practices within an international

school context;
- Engage in school duty assignments in order to monitor school spaces and student

behaviors;
- Assist with arrival and departure of students.
- Model and monitor the campus safety and health guidelines;
- Collaborate with the HS faculty, counselors, staff, and administrators;
- Attend school community events, such as exhibitions, performances, and community
- activities.- Participate in the annual Week Without Walls outdoor travel program (optional but strongly

encouraged).
