Job Requirements

The Finance Leader is responsible to build reports to help the DFO understand and articulate to multiple stakeholders at the country, region, and COG levels the key drivers of growth and profitability at the country and LOB level. These reports include NWP, Commissions, losses, solicitation cost, expenses, UCEs, sales, TARPs, etc.

Is responsible to provide the DFO all the necessary information for consolidating and packaging all monthly and quarterly reporting for the division in accordance with established schedules, as well as support with the annual Strat Plan and Operating Plan processes.

Through a strong understanding of profitability drivers both by LOB and by channel, the Finance Leader ensures that LOB leadership not only understands actual results but is also equipped to provide accurate forward-looking forecasts and take action to achieve desired results proactively rather than reactively.

**The primary LOB’s for which is responsible include**: A&H Basic Book, A&H DM, Travel, Auto, SPL, Residential, and IPRS at the country level.

It is key to have a fluid communication with local teams, LOB heads, Regional Finance team and Global teams.

Educated to degree standard, with at least 3 years of financial reporting experience with Consumer lines of business.
Fluent English to be able to communicate with global/regional teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL and CHUBB systems. Basic knowledge of Python.

At least 5 years of working in the Insurance industry at an Individual or Group level.
Demonstrated partnership and relationship building skills; build collaborative partnerships

Work Experience

**Monthly Reports**: NWP, commissions, sales, solic cost, and cancellations by sponsors. Expenses and UCE reports by sub lob.

**Forecasts**: Prepare NWP, commissions for every Fcast. Part of this information should be required from local teams. Expenses and UCE report should be prepared for every Fcast.

**Operating Plan**: Prepare NWP, commission, TARP, sales, solic cost reports by sponsor, to understand the plan with granularity.

**Admin Expense**: Provide Consumer Lines DFO with Expenses and UCE reports. Follow up with local teams the material variations with Plan and Fcast. Contribute with the control of the accurate allocations between Consumer Lines and P&C.

**Proman Update**: Ensure the correct update of Sponsors profiles, according to local team requirements. Includes the biannual update of all sponsors profiles (lapse and Converted) (GOH and Loss Ratio)
Quarterly DSC/OIA attestation - prepare materials for the quarterly committee meeting and manage impacts to the LatAm DSC asset and A&H/PL financial results from any decisions made by the committee.
Create and manage SQL, Access and Phyton script to extract data from different sources
- Must be familiar with View and stored procedures (to be able to run monthly reports, Fcast reports, Plan reports, with the official data published by Finance)
Manage Peoplesoft Product Tree - 'Support in the mapping of Flines, Tracking codes for New Products
Annualization Tracking and Auditing - provide quarterly file that shows the balance of annualized premium by country
UCE reclass Tracking and Auditing - provide a monthly report with UCE reclass
Profit Shares / Bonus Share Track the correct accruals in all the countries

**Pre-Closing - Best Estimate reports**: This work is done in conjunction with the regional finance team.
PnL by Sponsor/ Product Continue with the development of this project that is already in process.
