**About the Role**
- We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Specialist Data & Reporting in BHP’s Exploration Portfolio team.- In this role you will work closely with other Exploration teams around the globe, contributing to the monitoring and governance of a portfolio of Exploration opportunities and projects that enable value creation. Together you will support Exploration’s ambition to be a world-class growth engine and the leading global discovery team that consistently generates an economic return while delivering transformational growth for BHP.- Reporting to Manager Exploration Portfolio, your accountabilities include:
- Supporting implementation and optimization of portfolio routines through sourcing, analyzing, and visualizing data to deliver high-quality reports that support evidence-based decision making.
- Supporting Principal in portfolio benchmarking, implementation and optimization of prioritization methodologies, and identification of investment drivers to effectively manage key requirements across the portfolio.
- About You-
- Degree qualification with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in information management, analysis and interpretation, and visualization.
- Demonstrated experience in using effective data visualization techniques to present data in a meaningful way, with an emphasis on extracting and communicating insights to drive decision-making.
- Relevant experience in information / data systems implementation and management.
- Strong understanding of the key value drivers for resource exploration.
- While not mandatory but highly regarded, experience in resource exploration at a reputable firm.
- While not mandatory but highly regarded, technical undergraduate degree plus post-graduate degree with information / data systems focus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Also experienced in Microsoft Word, and Power Point. Proficiency in ArcGIS, SQL, or Python highly regarded.
- Self-guided, independent, organized, able to work autonomously and strives for continuous improvement.
- Intellectually curious, with a high-quality mindset.
