Senior Operations Manager

Purpose:
Positions holders are typically field based focusing onthe delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable andsafe asset operation. Activities include:
- Conducting safety inspections and complying withAggreko's safety regulation
- Providing first level technicaladvice to customers
- May resolve/troubleshoot implementationproblems Accountability Level:
Manages an Operational JobFamily for an entire region/country. Establishes operational/JobFamily plans for job area over the short to mid-term (1-3 years) witha direct impact on results. Influences business decisions made byleadership on complex issues that are of strategicimportance. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the output ofthe Service & Repair Centre to the defined quality, delivery & costtargets and to the defined Best Operating Practices and ISOprocedures.
- Ensure the completion of repairs and overhauls ontime, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairsand overall department budgets
- Ensure that all fleet assets,including third party purchases are supported by Standard WorkInstructions with Standard Times for all planned activities, Service &Operations Manuals, Bills of Materials and recommended spares holdinglevels.
- Develop, publish and improve Key PerformanceIndicators
- Define and implement re-manufacturing strategy inhubs/sites to defined quality standards, working closely with theregions.
- Responsible for the disposal of Fixed Assets throughsales or scrap upon end of life of units or in the event ofnon-standard or non-moving fleet items.
- Responsible for theserialised Physical Assets Verification (twice yearly) exercises andensures consistency of data in Movex and fixed asset registers.
-Drive HSE issues through high personal involvement andvisibility.
- Develop strong working relationships and goodcommunications with stakeholders
- Audit and make recommendationsthat will ensure that all facilities are operated and maintained inline with the Company’s Global Service Centre ManagementStandards
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and qualitystandards Typical Experience:
