Role Overview The inpatient respiratory team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with highly developed clinical and leadership skills to lead the Respiratory Physiotherapy Team across critical care and surgical in‑patient wards at the VHK, with a small commitment to respiratory outpatients. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a large team of physiotherapy staff, fostering staff development and performance. Identify, act on, and lead quality improvement, clinical audit, in‑service training, and evidence‑based practice initiatives. Deliver complex respiratory and surgical patient assessment and discharge planning. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Actively contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education. Qualifications Strong depth of knowledge, understanding, and management of common and complex respiratory/surgical presentations. Expertise in complex discharge planning and excellent communication skills. Previous experience of staff supervision/management is essential.
