Consultant ENT – Rhinology and General ENT Paediatrics Join as a Consultant ENT Surgeon based at University Hospital Monklands with duties across NHS Lanarkshire. The role involves participating in the on‑call rota and working with an existing team of 9 consultants, 2 Specialty Doctors, 4 STs on the West of Scotland Training Scheme, 2 FY2s, 1 Core Trainee and 2 CDFs. The post is offered as a full‑time post on a 10‑PA basis. Applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full‑time. Proposals for additional SPA time are encouraged for individuals with well‑developed ideas for improving services, including commitment to quality improvement, patient safety (including human‑factors training), medical education, research & development, or acting as an appraiser. The University of Glasgow enjoys close links with NHS Lanarkshire, and our medical students benefit from excellent educational opportunities provided by the board in both primary and secondary care. Involvement in teaching, research or scholarship within the University can lead to honorary status at the University of Glasgow.
