The Work You’ll Do:

Corporate Account Executives are responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and to close long-term contracts. Additional responsibilities include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation and all other aspects of the prospecting and sales renewals sales process. This role will be responsible for the sales process from BRFC to Close, while leveraging resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals, while articulating the value propositions of Sovos’ products and services. This role will work with various departments throughout the company with an emphasis on Sales, Legal and Finance.

More specifically, you will:
  1. Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities.
  2. Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts.
  3. Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensure quota attainment.
  4. Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders.
  5. Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction.
  6. Work with sales and marketing team to share new ideas and new business development strategies.
  7. Leverage multiple communication methods.
  8. Be skilled at time management and prioritization.
  9. Be effective at territory planning and execution.
  10. Be efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities.
  11. Act as a role model and mentor across the organization sharing best practices and messaging.
  12. Show willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences.
What we need from you:
  • Ability to navigate and manage end to end sales cycles.
  • 1-3 years’ experience as BDR, quota-carrying Sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred.
  • Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.
  • Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Utilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements and effective communication.
