General Manager

If you have proven experience leading commercial efforts in multinational companies and solid knowledge of the salmon industry, you could be the
**General Manager** we are looking for, who will aim to continue consolidating the company's business in Chile with a commercial focus.

**Principal functions and challenges**:

- Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the business administration, production operations, R&D and customer facing activities.
- Overall responsibility for development and delivery of strategic business plan and budget.
- Leading, managing, and developing the team whilst promoting and working aligned with the vision, Mission and Values and group wide HR policies.
- Development and implementation of commercial strategy and sales targets for company products and services in the Chilean market.
- Regular reporting against financial, commercial and production targets to the Board of Directors.
- Clear communication of strategy, stargets, and results to employees.
- Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent.
- Any other duties as required.

**What are we looking for?**
- Relevant Business or Life Sciences degree or related professional qualification.
- Extensive people management experience is essential.
- Experience in all aspects of business planning and implementing commercial and sales strategies.
- Experience of managing day to day administration, financial and HR operations.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and direct sales.
- Relevant knowledge and understanding of the Chilean salmon industry is essential.
- Technical knowledge of production is desirable.
