Consultant Anaesthetist Join to apply for the Consultant Anaesthetist role at NHS Scotland Overview University Hospital Hairmyres is looking to recruit a Consultant with a Generalist interest. The appointee will take part in a dedicated theatre on call rota based on a 1 in 10 frequency. Responsibilities Work within a department of 22 consultants undertaking 2.5 and/or 2 session days, covering the following subspecialties: ITU, general surgery, robotics, vascular, ECT, orthopaedics, CEPOD, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, gynaecology, and pre-assessment. Any specialist interest could be accommodated. Support and engage in quality improvement, patient safety, medical education, research & development, acting as an Appraiser, etc. Participate in the full-time post on a 10 PA basis; negotiate additional SPA time if desired.
