Title And Summary Principal, Advisors & Consulting Services, Strategy & Transformation Role Overview As a Principal you will be a trusted client business advisor, leading engagements across various industries and project types, such as consulting services, Test & Learn, or data and analytics. You will lead engagement teams to deliver best‑in‑class insights and deliverables. As a people manager, you will mentor and coach junior teammates and contribute to Mastercard’s knowledge management and best practices. Role Description And Major Responsibilities Lead engagement teams to deliver best‑in‑class insights and project deliverables. Provide subject‑matter or industry expertise to the team, guiding creative and efficient solutions that drive client value. Own mid‑to‑senior‑level client relationships and proactively engage in the client agenda, internal culture, and relationship risks. Serve as a thought partner to clients and stakeholders, supporting the Mastercard Advisors & Consulting Services brand internally and externally. Qualifications Proven consulting experience at a senior level in a top‑rated firm or equivalent in a major financial institution. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; MBA or other advanced postgraduate degree preferred. Professional English language capability. A third language such as Portuguese is a plus. Advanced experience managing multiple people across multiple projects. Experience as a people manager and team leader with proven ability to motivate individuals. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. Exposure in payments, retail banking, or merchants preferred. Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Spanish. Demonstrated ability to own and develop relationships with mid‑ and executive‑level client contacts. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required; data expertise preferred.
