Position: IT Senior Support Engineer They are looking for an IT Senior Support Engineer to act as the local IT lead for their regional office while contributing to global IT operations and initiatives. The position would be ideal for a hands‑on IT professional who enjoys end‑user support, infrastructure ownership, stakeholder engagement, and working within a globally distributed IT environment. Responsibilities Your primary role involves delivering 1st and 2nd line IT support to regional office users across endpoints, SaaS platforms, collaboration tools, and local infrastructure while meeting SLA targets. You are required to act as the local IT point of contact, managing deskside support, onboarding and offboarding, office technology, and vendor coordination. You'll be responsible for triaging, prioritising, and resolving tickets raised via ticketing systems, chat tools, email, phone, and face‑to‑face interactions, with accurate documentation and timely escalation of 3rd line issues. Administering and maintaining standard operating environments, including device management policies, OS deployments, software packaging, and release management, forms a key part of the role. Your role also involves monitoring endpoint and infrastructure performance, identifying risks, escalating issues, and recommending improvements to standards, hardware, and policies. You are expected to create and maintain knowledge base articles and user documentation to improve first‑contact resolution and reduce repeat incidents. Implementing process improvements and automation through scripting or workflows to improve efficiency and service quality is essential. Should possess significant experience in end‑user computing or IT support within a distributed or global environment. Experience working with ticketing systems, endpoint support (Windows, macOS), and SaaS applications is required. Quite an acquaintance of networking fundamentals, device management tools, identity and access management, and IT security principles is essential. Must be skilled in troubleshooting operating systems, managing device compliance, supporting collaboration tools, and coordinating with vendors. Experience with scripting or automation tools, monitoring platforms, and modern workplace technologies is considered a strong advantage.
