Project Manager Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Santiago, Chile . The selected candidate will play a key role in managing renewable energy projects from development through construction and commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage renewable energy projects (wind, solar PV, and storage) from development to completion, ensuring delivery within established schedules and budgets. Provide strategic direction, leadership, and coordination to project teams. Oversee project construction schedules and ensure on‑time execution. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including EPC and BoS agreements. Launch RFPs for BoS contracts and major equipment, conducting both technical and financial evaluations of proposals. Manage and optimize project budgets, timelines, objectives, and deliverables. Act as a liaison with authorities such as the National Electrical Coordinator , utilities, partners, and other stakeholders for permitting and grid connection infrastructure. Prepare and submit administrative documentation required for photovoltaic or wind plant grid connections. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, EPC contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and technical advisors. Identify key risks, implement preventive actions, and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Prepare and present regular project progress reports to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adequate allocation of resources to meet project milestones and financial objectives. Supervise subcontractor performance to ensure construction quality and project completion standards. Collaborate closely with the Development and Engineering teams to identify optimal market strategies and maximize project profitability. Conduct project risk analyses and recommend mitigation measures. Requirements Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering. At least 5 years of experience managing wind, solar PV, or energy storage projects. Proven experience in Chile. Strong proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Competitive salary package.
