Drive and deliver on our product roadmap, working with your team to turn 1‑pager specs into features Grow your teams by coaching developing engineers and by attracting and hiring top talent Obsess about the architectural design, implementation and quality of the work your team produces Partner cross‑functionally with Product and Design to innovate and execute product initiatives across the company Contribute to engineering‑wide initiatives as a member of Front’s engineering management team What skills and experience do you need? A customer‑ and product‑driven mindset; the ability to make a complex application feel simple and intuitive for the end user Engineering management experience that includes effectively recruiting, mentoring, and retaining great people Strong track record of running teams that deliver projects of significant complexity and high level of ambiguity The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced, collaborative, low‑ego and high‑growth environment; you work well with all kinds of personalities and with teams across multiple geographies Clear, structured thinking and excellent communication skills Understand the trade‑offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism Bonus: Experience working in NodeJS or React Strong design sense Experience building tools in the customer support space Front provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age or disability.
