Working Hours: US Timezone | 5 days per week including some weekends About The Opportunity: You will join a team of risk & trading professionals, serving as the first line of defense against irregular market movements. The team is responsible to ensure our users and company are well protected by identifying early signs of high risk activities (i.e liquidation events, high volatility periods). In addition to real-time monitoring, you will also have the opportunity to work on risk alerts / tools enhancements. Responsibilities Monitor and assess key risk areas within spot/derivatives, looking into unusual trading patterns to prevent manipulative trades Conduct daily monitoring, review, and analysis of alerts; ensure timely and appropriate resolution of incidents or risk events. Prepare and deliver accurate risk reports and findings to supervisors in a timely manner. Proactively share timely updates on market developments/news and demonstrate deep expertise in market dynamics. Implement and maintain risk policies and procedures in alignment with organizational strategy and evolving market conditions to prevent, mitigate, and eliminate risks. Identify and investigate fraudulent activity - including large position exposures, market irregularities, and other emerging risks from macroeconomic factors Provide risk analysis and investigative support by conducting tests on risk strategies and incident cases as required. Requirements You’re curious and passionate about Cryptocurrency/Trading Able to work shift, 5 days per week (Including some weekends) Good knowledge of Crypto/Defi/Web3, and constantly keeping yourself updated with latest hype/developments. Prior experience in market risk or quantitive risk is highly advantageous Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work effectively in remote settings.
