About the Role Accountable for the development, design, engineering, and execution of the Off/On Site Pilots of the innovation delivery portfolio across Chile. Ensures meeting Innovation Investment Review Committee requirements, designs, engineering, construction, commissioning, risk management, and quality assurance, according to all Asset’s standards and BHP requirements. Key leadership role for team Innovation Delivery - BHP Invent, in Minerals Americas. Accountabilities Overall commitment to Safety / Health / Security / Environment. Integrates and coordinates all interfaces between Owner Team Services, Innovation Product, Business Partners and Vendors technology to verify all design, engineering and requirements are ready for execution (ie: Mechanical, Piping, E&I, Civils). Frames, develops, and implements the Project Execution Plan, and its change mgt. Establish THE base line and progress control schedule for execution initiatives. Validates pilot engineering, budget, and schedule for a sustainable pilot delivery. Leads the engineering and constructions contracts to ensure the fit-for-purpose. Peer review – other internal teams to ensure functional excellence across the Innovation Value Chain. Supports the detail engineering during Pre-Pilot. Leads the Owner Team Support (OTS) on site, including the assurance of execution engineering, construction, technical review processes. Contract manages all execution contracts. About You Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction related fields. Desirable experience in piloting & testings. Minimum 15 years of experience in projects development, delivery. Spanish and English spoken/written. Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is desirable. Availability to work flexible: Travel to site every week, work in BHP Santiago office, and remotely. Shift 5x2, based in Santiago. Experience Technical: Familiarity with framing, design, engineering, construction, with desirable experience in innovation projects. Project Controls: project/portfolio mgt, cost control, schedule, basis of estimates, budgets, and change mgt. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders and liaise with business partners, execution teams, operations, Innovation’s Ecosystem and Product teams.
