Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address information security risks.
- Design, implement, and manage information security solutions and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor security alerts, incidents, and respond to security breaches promptly.
- Implement and manage security protocols, encryption, and access controls.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and security policies.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on security awareness training for employees.
- Participate in the planning and execution of information security projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms, PKI, and secure protocols.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate security concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of network security and protocols.
- Understanding of security in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with endpoint protection and mobile device security.
