Senior Hydrotechnical Engineer

La Práctica de Relaves de Hatch Chile está buscando contratar a un ingeniero senior hidrotécnico para trabajar en nuestra oficina de Santiago.

Responsabilidades Claves :

  • Proporcionar apoyo técnico en tareas de gestión del agua, incluyendo: hidrología de línea de base, estudio del balance hídrico, plan de gestión del agua, modelado y diseño hidráulico, ruptura de presas y estudios de inundación, plan de control de sedimentos y erosión, apoyo a la operación del agua de mina, gestión del agua de cierre, apoyo a la gestión del agua de construcción y trabajos de campo.
  • Coordinación con equipos multidisciplinarios para desarrollar soluciones integradas de relaves, desechos mineros y gestión del agua de mina, tecnologías de proceso de deshidratación de relaves, estudios de transporte y modelado de depositación final de relaves, así como gestión de aguas superficiales, análisis de rotura de presas, encauzamiento de inundaciones para evaluar y dimensionar canales / tuberías.
  • Proporcionar dirección a ingenieros, diseñadores y técnicos junior, y mantener la calidad del trabajo a lo largo de un proyecto.
  • Participar en las políticas, procedimientos, normas y directrices de salud, seguridad y medio ambiente en la ejecución de todos los trabajos.
  • Preparar documentación técnica, incluidos memorias de cálculo, informes, especificaciones técnicas y memorandos de base de diseño, así como revisar y coordinar diseñadores civiles y ayudar a preparar planos de ingeniería.
  • Desarrollo de negocios y marketing para clientes existentes y nuevos de Hatch en el sector minero, así como apoyo en la preparación de propuestas técnicas.

Cualificaciones y experiencia :

  • Título en Ingeniería Civil
  • Mínimo de 7 años de experiencia en consultoría de ingeniería en estudios hidrológicos y diseños hidráulicos (se prefiere experiencia en la industria minera).
  • Experiencia en análisis hidrológico, estudio del balance hídrico del sitio, transporte de relaves, diseño hidráulico de instalaciones de transporte y almacenamiento de agua, rotura de presas y estudios de inundación.
  • Experiencia preferida en paquetes de software como GoldSim, PCSWMM, FLO-2D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, CulvertMaster, AutoCAD y GIS;
  • La exposición anterior a la construcción, el trabajo de campo y el apoyo a los permisos ambientales es una ventaja;
  • Competencia bilingüe preferida en inglés
  • Capacidad para integrarse a un equipo internacional con un fuerte enfoque en el cliente.
  • Altamente competente en el conjunto de herramientas de MS Office, incluyendo: Excel, Word y PowerPoint.
