Fintoc está cambiando la forma en que las personas pagan por internet. En el futuro se usarán menos tarjetas de crédito y los pagos cuenta a cuenta se establecerán como la forma de pagar predominante en LATAM.

Este movimiento ya es una realidad en regiones como Europa, Brasil y Norteamérica, por lo que vemos un potencial inmenso además de encontramos en el timing ideal para impulsar esta oportunidad.

Tenemos un producto usado cientos de miles de veces al día. Los desafíos técnicos que tenemos son muy complejos ya que estamos construyendo el futuro de la infraestructura financiera en Latinoamérica y se enfocan principalmente en escala e implementación. Por lo mismo estamos buscando Senior Software Engineers que se unan al equipo para ayudarnos a lograr esto.

Como Senior Software Engineer, trabajarás en distintas áreas del producto donde tendrás que resolver problemas complejos con soluciones simples y eficientes.

Qué esperamos
  • Tengas 5 o más años de experiencia en desarrollo de software.
  • Puedas evaluar trade-offs entre distintas tecnologías o alternativas para solucionar un problema. Para escalar un producto como Fintoc hay que entender muy bien los trade-offs considerando no solo aspectos técnicos como el uso de CPU o RAM para soportar millones de pagos, sino que también la experiencia de usuario que podemos ofrecer.
  • Puedas resolver problemas construyendo software legible, mantenible, confiable y eficiente (el orden puede variar de acuerdo a la naturaleza del problema).
  • Sepas cómo manejar un nivel razonable de deuda técnica.
  • Puedas ocupar muchos sombreros. No importa si tienes que escribir código para el front, backend o hacer un script en bash. Código es código, y si no sabes cierta tecnología la puedes aprender o usar ChatGPT para que trabaje por ti.
  • Seas capaz de expresarte de modo escrito y verbal. Un Software Engineer en Fintoc no trabaja Vas a compartir tus soluciones con el resto del equipo de Ingeniería en documentos de diseño, escribirás post-mortems y además tendrás que comunicarte con equipos no técnicos (como ventas, customer success o marketing).
  • Que sepas trabajar en equipo. A la hora de trabajar en proyectos complejos, el hacer las cosas en conjunto supera a las estrellas solitarias.
Proceso de Selección
  • Entrevista con Flo, del equipo People.
  • Entrevista técnica. Consiste en programar un problema simple en vivo. No es necesario estudiar nada antes. Si sabes programar no deberías tener problemas.
  • Una tarea para la casa que será revisada como si fuese un PR a Fintoc.
  • Una prueba de diseño de sistemas en pizarra con dos devs de Fintoc.
  • Entrevista con Cristóbal, Co-founder y CEO de Fintoc.
  • Por último lo más entretenido, un café con el equipo.

Trabajamos de manera híbrida. Vamos mucho a la oficina así que sí es necesario que estés en Santiago de Chile, pero si quieres trabajar algunos días desde la casa o irte a la playa unos días no hay problema.
