Operations Analyst – Senior Associate The Operations Analyst – Senior Associate is responsible for executing, reviewing, and controlling complex banking transactions for corporate customers, ensuring that all operations — including payments, spot transactions, deposits, loans, interest payments, renewals, and disbursements — are processed accurately, timely, and free of errors. The role contributes directly to operational excellence, internal control, and regulatory compliance, acting as a key control point within the Operations Department and произведет compliance with CMF, Central Bank of Chile, SII, and Head Office (HO) requirements. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Execute, review, and control corporate banking transactions, including but not limited to: Spot transactions and payment orders Time deposits and renewals Loan disbursements, repayments, and interest payments Input remittances in CLP and other foreign currencies Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately, completely, and in accordance with internal manuals, procedures, and controls. Perform independent review and validation of transactions executed byادن other areas, identifying discrepancies, risks, or errors and escalating when required. Maintain daily controls between products, accounting records, and operational systems, including multi‑currency reconciliations and settlements. Prepare, review, and submit regulatory reports and operational files to: Head Office and internal governance bodies Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and Head Office requirements, supporting audits and regulatory reviews. Contribute actively to the improvement and updating of operational manuals, procedures, and internal controls. Act as a technical reference and backup within the Operations team, supporting bula junior analysts and ensuring continuity of operations. Coordinate closely with Treasury, Accounting, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Corporate Banking to resolve operational issues and improve processes. Support the Operations Manager in identifying operational risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. Education & Qualifications University degree in International Trade / Foreign Trade or related banking / financial discipline. Additional training in banking operations or trade finance is desirable. Technical Knowledge / Know‑How Strong understanding of banking operations, back‑office processes, and transaction life cycles. Solid knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements (CM Comercio, Banco Central, SII). Ability to apply internal controls, segregation of duties, and operational risk management principles. Proficient use of banking systems and Microsoft Office (advanced level). Familiarity with SWIFT operations, settlements, reconciliations, loans, and treasury back‑office processes. Skills and Competencies High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and process discipline. Strong dunya analytical and problem‑solOGLE skills, with the ability to identify root causes. Effective written and verbal communication, including interaction with regulators and Head Office. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations or back‑office roles within financial institutions. Proven experience in corporate banking operations and interaction with regulators. Experience in global or international banking environments is highly desirable. Work Modality (On‑site Requirement) This position is performed exclusively on‑site at Bank of China, Agencia en Chile, due to operational, security, and internal control requirements.
