Our Client, a Truck and Engine Manufacturing company, is looking for an Industrial Engineer for their San Antonio, TX location. Responsibilities Responsibility is to support Engineering projects developing technical drawings that help translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans used in building products and structures. Their day‑to‑day responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, layout updates using AUTOCAD software, place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings and checking design drawings to verify they’re accurate and meet industry standards. Requirements AUTOCAD Experience (2D and 3D layouts) Manufacturing Experience (Line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, Standard work, etc.) Mfg. Tooling and Equipment Installation Experience Need candidates who have worked in a Manufacturing environment. We are looking for at least 3 years of experience and preferably but not required in Automotive/Truck industry. Engineering degree is a must and Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing would be strongly preferred. Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D and 3D, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently. Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings. Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications. Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with architects, engineers and other professionals. Time‑management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines. Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards. Advanced mathematical skills. Ability to perform physical measurements to create layouts as required. Coordinate multidisciplinary projects review between departments and other stakeholders. Create and follow up problem follow‑up sheets to monitor and guide completion of activities. Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to be able to support prototype pilot build constructions. Knowledge of MS Office to perform analysis and prepare executive presentations. Previous manufacturing Automotive/Truck Industry experience is a plus. Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus. Benefits Health Benefits Referral Program Excellent growth and advancement opportunities.
