Job Description:


Manage, direct and control all the processes associated with the provision & purchasing of general goods and services both in Operations & Projects, in search of efficiency, guaranteeing internal customer satisfaction, preserving the environment and complying with global/corporate safety regulations and compliance standards.


Responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses.


Your role

  • Fulfill the purpose of the procurement area/function through value creation.
  • Ensure the procurement function's performance to meet established goals.
  • Build a strong relationship with key user areas and position the procurement area as a business partner.
  • Connect with operations in the region to identify lessons learned and/or address global opportunities together.
  • Keep a timely and fluid relationship with Group Procurement and jointly address global procurement challenges.
  • Develop improvements to the model defined during this process.
  • Identify and generate initiatives for continuous improvement in procurement practices and processes.
  • Implement and adapt Group Procurement Policies to the local context.
  • Support project executions from a procurement perspective.
  • Develop and ensure the execution of the annual purchasing plan.
  • Control and supervise day to day procurement processes.
  • Manage IT systems to make sure they help the process.
  • Ensure the development of procurement team members.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining longterm relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Prepare, control and optimize the assigned budget in order to minimize possible deviations.

Qualifications:

  • Eight (8)+ years of experience in Procurement & Category Management.
  • Project Management expertise.
  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration or any specialization related. Technical disciplines might be considered depending on the professional experience.
  • Postgraduates studies are desirable.
  • Experience in renewable energy industry and large investment projects.
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools.
  • Indepth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
