What You Will Do

  • Lead the sales team, establish its objectives, and ensure that business strategies are followed, in order to achieve the projected objectives.
  • Guarantee that processes of Kit Room in Santiago perform in an efficient and timely manner for giving a good service to Surgery Coordination and Sales teams.
  • Responsible for managing the kitting processes of Instrumentation and Implants following sales requirements in short term (direct surgeries) and longterm consignments, under quality standards and internal procedures, supported by the supervisors/coordinators of each area.
  • Set up priorities and give inputs and instructions to his/her team facilitating kits building to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate and monitor specific activities through departmental (quarterly) and individual meetings (ad hoc) to communicate directives, indicate priorities, verify, and check the status of progress of various activities and make the necessary corrections if any.
  • Ensure that the management of kits is systematically appropriate to facilitate their processing, respecting quality procedures and policies.
  • Consult with other departments to coordinate activities (kit booking, customer care, assets managements team, consignments) to assure a good level of service to external and internal customers, effective and efficient management of company assets, driving cost management in a proper way for the company, respecting company policies and quality procedures.
  • Lead the instrumentation and implant kits building every year (CAPEX) and provide visibility of this process status to Sales Managers frequently.
  • Ensure the execution of cycle counts of inventory in longterm consignments across the country.
  • Ensure Implants inventory availability with strong communication and partnership with Logistics / Imports / Planning.
  • Procedure regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Revise and update quality procedures.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that kits are stored safely.
  • Promotes and collaborates in the order and cleanliness of the kit room, to maintain a safe working environment for our team and products
  • To assure the use of safety practices and protections in the kit room and delimiting the nonsterile areas from the sterile.
  • Train and motivate direct reports to identify talents and develop future leaders.
  • Promote and disseminate the culture of compliance.
  • Promote and lead the implementation of technologies and tools for having efficient operations
  • Assign and delegate with the direct team under his/her responsibility, the surgeries entered by Customer Service in the system, distributing the resources and ensuring compliance with the expected levels of service.
  • Manage the transportation and assign efficient routes for delivering the products in accomplish with Hospital Centers receiving schedules.
  • Responsible for the kits retreat after surgeries performed in the Hospital Center and for the return of these quickly to the Kit room to get these ready for a new surgery.
  • Ensure that Implants and Instruments Kits prepared by the Kit Room area have the quality requirements for delivering these to our customers avoiding complaints (crossed controls)
  • Responsible for controlling that all the movements in the ERP system are executed correctly
  • Responsible for surgical assistants' services ensuring that scheduled surgeries are properly attended.
  • Manage the required transportation services for arriving on time to the surgeries
  • Control the costs of the transportation services in alignment with Budget
  • Implement and give sales teams the required visibility tools for tracking deliveries on realtime
  • Design and implement efficient routes.
  • The Associate Manager must conduct all business and affairs in compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Stryker Code of Conduct, and in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
