Role and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Security product owner to execute the security roadmap, enhancing security tooling for the production environment.
  • Establish and enforce security standards for deploying AWS cloud infrastructure securely.
  • Develop and manage security tools for applications and infrastructure, integrating them with CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
  • Handle daily production security tasks such as systems patching, security alert responses, and reviews of engineering milestones.
Required qualifications and skills
  • Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network security and operational issues in a cloud setting.
  • Proficiency in cloud tooling landscapes like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience in DevSecOps and leadership roles in tech environments.
  • 5+ years of DevSecOps experience.
Desired qualifications and skills
  • Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python and/or Go.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or Nomad is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, Linux, and networking.
  • Equivalent experience with other languages and tools.
