About the Position

The FP&A Sr. Analyst is responsible for designing, preparing, analyzing, supporting, and reporting on all related analysis and requirements received by the Local Finance team. Their main mission is to ensure that the information generated and reported is reliable, timely, and relevant for business decision-making and internal and external user satisfaction.

This individual must be able to integrate business knowledge and understanding into the reports and information analyzed to add value to the company's financial planning processes.

The person in this role primarily relies on technological tools for data analysis and financial information, as well as communication and interaction with other teams to gather the best information to meet the department's requirements.

Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to create and lead team presentations to various audiences.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in areas related to engineering, commerce, marketing, control and management, finance, or any other relevant field for the role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in management control or financial planning functions.
  • Experience in data analysis tasks, report preparation.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Finance.
  • Knowledge of market studies or benchmarking desirable.
  • Accounting knowledge and principles (Desirable IFRS & USGAAP)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills - (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, among others). PowerQuery or similar for data handling
  • Desirable knowledge: Python, SQL, or R for data analysis. Tools for report preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports at the end of the period; as well as monthly and weekly regulatory reports and present the information to the board.
  • Prepare, support, and present recurring and specific analyses requested by the Finance area.
  • Prepare and support the construction processes of Forecast and Business Plan.
  • Prepare, support, and analyze Pricing processes.
  • Prepare presentations, flowcharts, process documentation according to the area's needs.
  • Deliver results presentations, analysis, and provide business information to various teams and individuals, both within GMF and other external organizations.
