Team Overview and Job responsibilities 

We are looking for a Price Specialist to join our team.

Based in Santiago, Chile reporting to Finance Director you will be responsible to advise companies on how to price their products and services to achieve their financial goals. This involves developing appropriate pricing strategies, following market trends and performing financial assessments. Monitor market trends. Working closely with other team members to closely track movements in costs. Monitoring and reporting on pricing performance and competitiveness. Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models Monitor input costing changes and develop sensitivity analysis thresholds to provide reporting on potential changes to finished prices Present pricing analysis at a monthly strategy meeting, with insights, trends, and suggestions Lead pricing-related projects including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations Monitor the market and competition continually to reassess pricing Define a policy to attend special projects: fixed rules to attend business that due to market competitiveness cannot be served using price list Test different price points to enter a new or available market, or enhance an offering with consumer-oriented benefits Valuate sales quotation to obtain the P&L result to support management approvals Ensure all sales orders should be submitted on time to provide enough analysis time according to DOA Ensure controls in prices analysis, certifying that sales should be profitability (as planned) Works together with Commercial team daily to avoid any sales order delay related to prices approvals related to prices controls Anticipate potential impacts and communicating to the local management
