The Senior Public Relations Manager will lead all PR activities for the employer brand (Newfold Digital) and the GTM (go-to-market) brands. This role will execute integrated media relations strategies and campaigns to promote the pillar brands, position executives as thought leaders on newsworthy and important topics and as a go-to resource for media outlets. This role includes creating media relations strategies on behalf of the brands, creating powerful stories featuring our customers, developing a creative thought leadership program, data-driven storytelling, launching new products and managing PR activities for integrated marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the strategy development and implementation of Newfold’s and the GTM brands’ PR activities, across business-related announcements, customer stories, and influencer communications.
- Lead crisis communications for unexpected situations including drafting statements with legal, monitoring social media, and all external communications.
- Develop and lead thought leadership strategies by working closely with brand executives and teams. Manage logistics for contributed content, speaking opportunities, events and social media.
- Manage PR agency on behalf of Newfold and the brands, keeping them abreast of product launches, trends, and customer stories. Connect with teams and executives to support media pitching.
- Develop and lead strategy on data collection both internally and externally to execute research-driven storytelling.
- Create strategy and manage influencer programs across brands including budgeting and contracts when necessary.
- Spearhead the development of each brand’s narrative for product launches, campaigns, and etc. - partner closely with the PR agency, as well as department heads.
- Engage with the PR agency, senior executives, and other groups across marketing, development, customer support and others to uncover story angles and proof points for compelling pitches.
- Manage incoming media inquiries to opportunistically enhance the brand’s industry leadership position with and in the media.
- Draft talking points, backgrounders, statements, press releases, etc.
- Collaborate with social teams on executive social media strategy.
- Maintain relationships across multiple internal teams including marketing, product, business intelligence, analytics, etc. to ensure consistent communications strategies.
- Contribute content/concepts for use on the brand’s owned channels.
- Monitor competitive news/developments and industry-related issues, crafting responses and/or strategic messaging, as appropriate.
- Track and engage with influencers and members of the industry media.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of relevant experience, agency preferred
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strategic thinker that is proactive versus reactive
