As the role of Principal Construction Project Manager - Santiago,Chile, you would manage daily aspects of site construction (e.g., new construction/build) such as data center construction, facilities upgrades, communication site construction, and/or wireless telecommunications systems (towers, poles, equipment shelters). You are responsible for all construction priorities including safety (e.g., leading and driving a safety culture), compliance (e.g., MS Policy/SOX, OLC/Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption), quality, schedule, and cost (e.g., financial accountability). You'll create a detailed scope of work documentation and troubleshoots issues to avoid delays or escalations. You may be responsible for performing site surveys, creating and updating project schedules, ordering materials, and contributing to selection and/or evaluation of general contractors and subcontractors. You may perform administrative tasks such as issuing work orders, preparing management reports, and preparing quotes and cost estimates. You will also develop and maintain safety programs. You may also manage multiple projects or may be top on-site manager on single large, extensive project.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Management**
- Oversees the team's deployment of large-scale, campus and/or regionally-based delivery solutions (e.g., new and/or retrofit datacenter solutions) while also socializing with regional and global leaders. Sets goals for internal and external project teams under their purview of responsibility, delegates responsibilities, measures performance against contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), and seeks and delivers feedback to achieve timely results.

- Leads and drives coordination for meetings and activities with vendors, cost managers, and/or owner/architect/contractors. Initializes and identifies opportunities to discuss and integrate lessons learned.

**Safety and Regulation**
- Manages and advocates for safe worksites by adhering to organizational and industry procedures. Reviews prior audit results and relevant legislation in order to recommend and manage safety compliance. Shares lessons learned with relevant stakeholders.
- Establishes, reviews, approves, and communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics, dashboards and/or scorecards to drive progress. Analyzes safety metrics and communicates and applies results to drive project action and individual development to lower-level staff and vendors

**Vendor Management**
- Directs and oversees the management of vendors, ensuring compliance with contracts and prior audit results. Controls vendor performance relative to cash flow and budget summaries (with cost management support). Provides direction and correction to vendors and internal support teams as needed.
- Manages the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Project Expenditure Requests (PERs), and other project approval tools and templates. Identifies and directs vendor scope of work, design review of site and building plans, change orders, and invoices

**Financial Acumen**

**Qualifications**:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management in data center or mission critical construction.

These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
