Lead Full Stack Developer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with product owners, legal SMEs, designers, and engineers in Agile, cross-functional teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure iterative delivery and rapid feedback cycles.
- Design and run experiments and prototypes to validate ideas and AI features such as natural language search, document summarization, contract analysis, and predictive legal insights.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback and telemetry to refine solutions and prioritize enhancements.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure’s suite of AI and ML services to build scalable, secure, and robust solutions.
- Integrate and fine-tune foundational models (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5) to handle legal language and use cases.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, responsible innovation, and feedback-driven development.

**Responsible AI, Security, & Privacy**:

- Ensure all AI solutions adhere to Responsible AI principles, including fairness, reliability, safety, privacy, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability.
- Participate in AI ethics reviews, risk assessments, and model documentation (e.g., datasheets, model cards).
- Conduct security threat modeling and integrate privacy impact assessments (PIAs) throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement safeguards to prevent misuse or unintended consequences of AI features, especially in sensitive legal contexts.
- Monitor AI system behavior in production and establish protocols for handling bias, drift, or model degradation.

**Must-Have Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development using technologies such as C#/.NET, Node.js, React/Angular, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience in deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- Proficiency with Azure AI services, including but not limited to:

- Azure OpenAI Service
- Azure Machine Learning
- Azure Cognitive Services (e.g., Language, Vision, Search)
- Experience working with foundational language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Hugging Face transformers, Microsoft’s Phi or Orca models).
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies, iterative experimentation, and user validation practices.
- Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, including training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI practices and enterprise-level security and privacy requirements.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate across time zones.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**:

- Background in legal tech or experience supporting attorneys or compliance teams.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bicep, Terraform).
- Knowledge of human-in-the-loop systems, prompt engineering, or LLMOps.

Pay: $20,000 - $40,000 per hour
