**What you will bring to the team**

This position leads the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and/or cash management accounting. Ensures necessary journals are prepared within strict timelines. Follows up with key stakeholders to ensure balance sheet reconciling items and related subledger source system variances are resolved. Works diligently to ensure all cash transactions have the appropriate accounting treatment. This position assures financial and tax accuracy and compliance with Local Gaap and local regulations, So, all obligations mentioned are completed on time and proper manner, without penalty

This position is responsible for the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations as well as reviewing and approving general accounting activities prepared by the finance analyst and inters. These activities are critical for ensuring correct representation of periodic financial results and tie out of balance sheet accounts to enable accurate and timely presentation of our financial statements. Untimely and/or incorrect entries can damage our company’s reputation that can have an impact on our bottom line and may result in increased audit fees and/or government penalties. This position has primary responsibility to the tax an accounting compliance, so obligations are completed on time and without penalty

**What you will be doing**:
Your typical day as a Toshiba **Senior Finance Analyst **will involve:

- Prepare a high-volume of journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Support various accounting functions for the month-end close
- Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports
- Provide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Review, track, and maintain external and intercompany billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations
- Support inter-company transactions in Oracle Advanced Global Intercompany System as needed Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as prepared by accountants
- Provide accounting training to accounting staff and business partners
- Responsible for month-end closing activities including researching and analyzing issues, balance sheet reconciliations, booking the appropriate journal entries and performing the corresponding financial controls
- Present financial results to management
- Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations
- Provide accounting support to functional Financial Planning and Analysis analysts
- Communicate with the business on relevant accounting matters
- Recommend to management any updates in accounting policies
- Create and manage setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report cash entries, advanced payments, accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
- Record company transactions on the local system. As well as develop and control the electronic accounting (trial balances)
- Prepare, participate, reconcile and control of physical inventory process (materials and fixed assets) and the cost of sales
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Bachelor's Degree in General Accounting or Finance with 5 years related experience or equivalent combination.
- General understanding of accounting concepts and procedures.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize heavy individual workload to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills; demonstrated professional, tactful problem-solving skills with personal presence to interface with corporate decision makers.
- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making
- Proficient in MS Excel required; Oracle experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of banking and lockbox interfaces, downloads, and software.
- Proven strong experience working with Electronic Fund Transfers to and from banking institution.
