**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Plan A Technologies is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) working with one of our clients. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.
- Please note: you must have at least three years of experience as Developer or SDET to be considered for this job._
**JOB RESPONSIBILITY**
- Review business requirements and feature files for testability and improvements
- Create unit tests with Nunit and Specflow
- Create automation for feature files with Katalon Studio
- Manage Test automation progress with Atlassian Jira and XpandIT Xray
- Monitor test results and investigate automated tests failures
- Create automated tests for existing product features to improve automated test coverage
- Review development team automated tests for accuracy and consistency
- Identify tooling needs, automation gaps, and reduce overhead in the development process.
**EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major OR 5 years' experience as Developer or SDET
- 3 years' experience as Developer or SDET
- Strong experience with Agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, TeamCity, and Xray
- Capable of finding memory leaks and race conditions in code
- Experience managing a test environment hosted on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud provider
- The ability to think analytically, solve problems, and document results.
- The ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across functional and technical departments
- Work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
- Strong ability to write clean and effective code (C-Sharp, JScript, REST, JSON)
- Ability to query documents in MongoDB
- Upper Intermediate-Level written and spoken English or better.
**Nice-to-Have Skills**
- Experience with large scale software implementations
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development and creating feature files
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence, Jira and ChatOps
- General understanding of Docker or Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, LEAN or Agile methodologies
- General understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 electronic records and electronic signature requirements
- Experience in Healthcare/Life Sciences industry is a plus, but not required
