This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work virtually as well as from our Santiago office

**What the day will look like**:

- Work with other team members assigned to a client (brokers, actuaries, Rating Agency and others)
- Provide substantial analysis; explain standard analyses with professional written and verbal communication
- Provide real-time loss estimates of actual catastrophic events in Latin America.
- Continue to build proficiency in using SQL and other programming languages
- Further develop understanding of (re)insurance terminology
- How terms and conditions impact modelling output
- Types of construction, occupancy, secondary modifiers and other location details that impact modelled results
- Prepare client-ready presentations

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:

- Degree required in the field of Actuarial, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related careers.
- Advanced user of Excel, Access and PowerPoint
- SQL knowledge (desirable)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate well with others externally and internally.
- Well-rounded communication skills and prior experience collaborating with clients and senior partners.
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments, work well with mínimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
