**Job Description**:
To be successful, this individual must establish, build, and leverage partnerships across multiple business units to configure innovative solutions and promote internal synergy.
- Development, testing, validation, maintenance and documentation of SAS codes used in data engineering, including complex file manipulation and data transformation and merges to personalize data and print form.
- Work on the extensive use of data through statistical and quantitative analysis, including the implementation of explanatory and predictive models created by our Clients using SAS products.
- Create, modify, and prepare files, formats, and print layouts based on client specifications.
- Analyzes and estimates system feasibility, program estimations and general project status. Communicates appropriate information to managers and end-users.
- Works with and understands complex file structures.
- Creates, modifies, and prepares files, formats, and print layouts based on client specifications.
- Ensures print imaging requirements are completed to meet client and production deadlines.
- Codes and executes programs, utilities, and mainframe to PC file transfers, and merges data to personalize and print forms.
- Communicates with the appropriate staff regarding current job status, problems, bottlenecks, and potential solutions.
- Identifies ways to improve methods and systems in order to increase productivity and quality of products.
- Codes complex programs in a variety of programming languages, on a variety of software/hardware platforms. These may include PC, Web, or third party software development tools.
- Analyzes and researches feasibility of internal and external client requests. Works with clients, sales, and other parties to define project requirements. Estimates cost and development time of projects.
- Analyzes internal processes and recommends or develops changes to improve efficiency, automation, and/or effectiveness.
- May have primary responsibility for maintaining and enhancing major production systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as a **SAS **Programmer.
- Good technical/professional knowledge of multiple computer programming languages and job control language.
- Knowledge of Athena, HIVE, Python, and JSON is a plus.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (40+ hours Monday through Sunday) according to production demands
- Good knowledge of PrintNet/PrintManager, and Visual Basic is desired
- Ability to accurately use Mac and PC to process forms layout.
- Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities
- Good problem identification and resolution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.

- Advanced understanding of interaction between multiple hardware and software platforms and how they affect other systems.
