**About the role**:
We are seeking a Financial Manager to lead the finance department at RoverPass, a startup focused on the campground and RV park industry, and ensure their financial processes run smoothly.
As the head of the finance team, you'll manage the bookkeeper and data team, make sure month-end closes are done on time, and create documentation for processes.
You'll also work with other teams to track payments, and collaborate with our FP&A team to ensure projections are accurate.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the finance department, including the bookkeeper and data team
- Ensure month-end financial close processes are run properly and on time
- Create documentation on how to run these processes
- Work with other teams to identify new processes for tracking payments
- Work with the FP&A team to ensure that projections are accurate
- Prepare and present financial reports to management
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
**Requirements and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Proven experience managing a finance department
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English
