**Job Description**:
- As an Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions for process control systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Responsibilities- Responsible for performing system engineering and field services for automation process control projects based on Distributed Control Systems (DCS), programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers, operator/field device, instrumentation, etc.-
- Designs moderate to complex architectures, and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. This includes system design, system engineering, software programming, factory and site testing.-
- Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies.-
- Develops and recommends corrective actions.-
- Attend to process automation projects of PlantPAx DCS, Logix systems, PowerFlex drives, FactoryTalk View, Historian, AssetCentre platforms. Be a contributing part of a project team, with high flexibility to accommodate to changes and accept challenges. Multitasking profile which main activities will be to execute engineering, design, programming, testing and site services.- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation/Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent.-
- 5+ years experience in DCS systems development. Leaded and participated in large and complex projects on the Process Industry-
- RA Products experience (PlantPAx, Logix, Drives, Software, Industrial components)-
- Site installation and commissioning leading experience, including mounting and electrical subcontractors supervision-
- Advanced English language communication - oral and written-
- Willing and able to travel and work at customer sites when needed. Travel can vary on assignment but can typically average 60%-
- Process Safety experience (SIS, ESD, F&G, BMS)-
- TUV or ISA Certification on Process Safety (Strong differentiator)-
- Experience with VMWare environments / networking and industrial communications protocols;-
- Project Management experience and understanding of best practices.
