**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**

The ES&H Supervisor - Camps is principally responsible for:

- Perform Occupational Health and Safety audits of contractors as required by law and CMDIC standards.
- Verify compliance with COVID-19 measures established by CMDIC and support the definition of action plans when a deviation is detected.
- Coordinates the integration of CMDIC safety and health requirements into project planning, construction and contract documents.
- Interprets CMDIC requirements and provide technical assistance to EPC contracts, Occupational Safety and Health teams and other project groups with respect to risk and hazard assessment, plan preparation and occupational safety and health program execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance for risk assessments and other safety and health reviews as per CMDIC requirements.
- Participates in emergency response and assists in the investigation and resolution of safety related incidents.
- Participates in meetings, as needed, with clients, project team members and contractors/subcontractors to inform them of safety and health requirements that may affect their work.
- Conducts inspections and monitoring to help assess occupational safety and health performance, identify the need for corrective action and confirm compliance with contract and project regulatory occupational safety and health requirements.
- Support or conduct incident investigations under the supervision of a senior safety engineer or Occupational Safety and Health manager.
- Perform compliance checks of critical controls established to provide compliance with CMDIC fatality standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**Basic Qualifications**

The ES&H Supervisor - Camps shall be knowledgeable and/or experienced in:

- Requires a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in occupational safety, health or related science discipline or
- 6+ years of relevant experience; or
- Associate's degree (or equivalent) in occupational safety or health, health or related science discipline 0 8+ years of relevant experience; or
- 12+ years of relevant safety or health experience

**Additional Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of Chilean Law, Mining Regulations and Chilean Safety Regulations.
- Knowledge of English language is preferred (writing, reading and speaking) but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 standard and internal auditor certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
