The Americas Marketing team is looking for an experienced field marketer who will design and execute marketing plans, create marketing contents, and manage industry events, initiate press releases and client case studies, gather competitive intelligence and contribute to go-to-market campaigns.
You will also ensure collateral produced by the Central Marketing Team based in Europe best addresses the Amerias market.
**What’s the role?**
Presales Functional Consultant covering sell side and buy side accounts in the Americas.
As a key member of our presales team, you will be part of a growing team whose purpose is to best assist business development teams in **North America and Latam** to acquire new accounts and expand at existing ones, across banking, brokerage, insurance, pension fund and hedge fund segments. You will be responsible for a wide range of functional presales activities. This includes participating to functional answers to RFI/RFPs, preparing functional demos (e.g., specific payoffs and models, specific RTPM views, etc.), presenting Murex functional offering via demos to prospects, as well as taking the lead on internal industrialization of functional artefacts for the Americas (demo script, market data management, local boilerplates, etc.) and participating actively to marketing activities initiated in the Americas. You will work directly with clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business needs so that you can provide functional solutions that address their needs and solidify Murex as a trusted business partner, and you will work with the Europe presales teams to leverage their innovation and industrialization. You will bring with you a deep understanding of the Murex functional offerings expected by financial firms, in the domain of:
- Trading and risk management (e.g., FI/CR, IRD, MM, FX, Asset Management, VaR, credit limits)
- Or Operations and finance (e.g., confirmation, settlement, collateral management, accounting)
You will demonstrate how the Murex functional offerings can best satisfy users and key stakeholders expectations and solve their pain points. Get ready to showcase the credibility you have achieved through a proven competency and knowledge of implementing the solution at existing clients.
**You will be trusted to...**
**Pre-sale to prospects/clients**
- Answer functional sections of RFx on selected opportunities, leveraging existing boilerplates (and proactively enhancing them)
- Lead functional demonstrations to prospects / clients on MX.3 on selected opportunities
- Prepare selected proof of concept in collaboration with product domain experts
- Handover the opportunity to Instance Life-Cycle department colleagues once Murex is ‘preferred’ by the prospect/client
**Industrialize the presales activities by bringing functional expertise**
- Build, automate and document functional demo scripts testing for demo platform Phoenix, in collaboration with other technical teammates from the Presales team
- Build selected technical prototypes when the team sees it fit
- Maintain local slideware and videos relevant for presentation to Americas prospects and clients
- Proactively propose a roadmap of items to improve presales in the Americas
**Collaborate with fellow Murexians**
- In the Americas
- Presales department fellows, & Bizdev, in order to effectively tackle RFx, demo and POC
- Product domain experts, to keep top-notch knowledge of MX.3 latest evolutions and Americas clients setup
- In Europe
- Emea-presales team, to be kept up to date about new platform evolutions and new presales materials produced by the HQ, as well collaborating to improve the demo scripts made available in Phoenix
**You’ll need to have**
- Extensive MX.3 knowledge with at least 7 years of experience
- Strong track record in acting as SME on Trading and Risk or Operations&Finance across multiple asset classes
- Proven ability in showcasing Murex functional offerings to prospects
- Skills in establishing, developing, and maintaining key relationships during demos, with outstanding communication skills
- Willingness for regular business travel
- Autonomy & creativity: you are expected to bring solutions
- Ability to cope with pressure and tight deadlines, multi-tasking
