**The Role**

As we look to the future of all the great things Gala is doing, we are excited to announce we are looking for a skilled Sr. UI/UX designer. In this role you will design and implement interfaces across multiple different parts of the Gala ecosystem, including games, the website and more. This is a unique opportunity to be immersed in a phenomenal team working on the gaming evolution, working on new and exciting things all while working with some of the best and most talented devs in the industry.

**Responsibilities**

• Work closely with the Lead PM to turn complex sets of requirements into gamer-friendly interfaces
• Demonstrate player empathy and advocate for accessibility for all gamers
• Communicate and build consensus with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality design solutions paired with detailed specifications for implementation
• Partner with UI art, production, and engineering to ensure alignment throughout the process
• Quickly concept and iterate on ideas with excellent communication skills to present them to a team audience
• Actively manage and prioritize work in order to deliver designs in a timely manner
• Willingness to take direction and accept critical review of your work
• Be self-reliant, with the ability to take mínimal direction and run with it when necessary

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**

• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or other proprietary engines
• Experience with Sketch, XD, Figma or similar prototyping tools
• Excellent attention to detail for both aesthetic and technical quality
• At least 2 shipped game titles or major app UX and a passion for games as a medium
• Strong portfolio showcasing prior work experience
• Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
• Excited by problem-solving
• Fearless

**Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications**

• Passionate and driven to work in an innovative environment
• AAA console development experience
• A design geek at heart - you appreciate and see the design in everything
• Experience designing for a global audience in multiple languages
